About the Book
Between 2004 and 2006, I held the world record for travelling around the London Underground in the fastest time possible. A friend and I covered all 275 stations in just over eighteen and a half hours.
In 2006, I moved to America and lived in South Carolina for almost four years, and missed London and the transport system which is an intricate part of the lifeforce of the magnificent city that is my home.
In 2009, I knew I was returning, but before I did I decided to trek all across America so that I could say that I'd seen the whole country.
So I picked a place - one in each of the lower 48 states - that shared the name as a name on the tube map, and used that as my route across the fascinating country that is the US of A.
It took ten weeks. I blogged as I went, made 20 videos, sent over 1,500 tweets and most importantly over 3,000 photos ... which is what this book is. A photobook of my favourite pictures from the trip.

London, England
A Londoner all my life, I spent four years between the beginning of 2006 and the end of 2009 living in South Carolina in the USA. This fueled my appreciation of exploration and travel, and led to my first published Blurb book 'Underground : USA', a photobook of a ten week road trip I took across the whole of America.
