About the Book
This book is a pictorial diary of a week in Scotland at the Aigas Field Centre near Inverness during the summer of 2013. It was to be an excellent week, not just exploring the countryside but learning about some of the history of the Highlands. The day was generally spent with a ranger exploring different areas with frequent stops and walks to points of interest where wildlife might be found. A hundred different bird species were spotted during the week and Bottled Nose Dolphins in the Moray Firth, Pine Martens from the hides and Red Squirrels in the woodland around the Aigas estate. Previewing the book will provide the reader with an insight of some of the amazing wildlife and wonderful scenery in this part of Scotland. Please be aware that the electronic versions of the book require a suitable size screen to be able to read the text and captions clearly and obtain a better previewing experience. The author has no affiliations or connection with Cunard; He was just one of the fare paying passengers the Elizabeth was carrying on the cruise.
