About the Book
The Boat Project is a fantastic art installation in the form of a modern yacht. The magic lies in the skin of wood derived from multiple donations from the public including parts of HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and a Jimi Hendrix guitar! This book documents its visit to Folkestone on July 10th 2012. Each page has a large single photograph with a single line caption beneath. The photographs are in chronological order and tell the whole story of Collective Spirits' visit from first sighting off the coast, arrival, mooring up and then leaving Folkestone harbour just over an hour later. In full colour throughout this is a great reminder of a unique day at Folkestone with a unique vessel.
