Paperback edition. 25 years ago I fulfilled a lifelong ambition to walk through the Himalayas. I quit my job, moved out of my apartment, and took two treks in the mountains of Nepal: one guided and catered; the other solo and spontaneous. These are my photographs and written impressions of those two treks.
