About the Book
In 2018, PINKPROGRESSION participated in a series of unique exhibitions incorporating compelling artwork, interactive workshops, artist lectures, books, and community collaborations. These exhibitions were inspired by the historical womxn and sister marches that began in January 2017. PINKPROGRESSION commemorates, celebrates, and builds on the solidarity established during these marches, addressing a variety of concepts, such as human rights, gender identity, and equality.
This catalog includes essays from scholar, critic, and author Maria Elena Buszek and art historian, writer, and cultural critic Kealey Boyd, is designed by artist, designer, and professor Kelly Monico. This publication features over 100 pages of incredible artwork from Colorado artists who participated in PINKPROGRESSION 2018 exhibits.
