About the Book
A book of my personal encounters and observations of photographing the local railway scene in monochrome in my first 10 years in owning a 35mm camera. It covers the 1980's and although numerous subjects are covered, it is not a definite representative of the British Rail 'blue' scene in Merseyside at that time. However, you will find Class 08, 20, 25, 31, 37, 40, 45, 47, 50, and 56's appearing amongst a small variety of Multiple Units too, along with locations longs once disappeared or change. It is hoped you will still find an interesting selection of motive power and locations, may be rekindle memories, what you missed or just something of interest?

Liverpool
Transport photographer of many years based in Merseyside, UK with a mainly active interest in the current local rail freight scene. Other interest's including Preserved Steam, AIrcraft and Ships. I have extensive collection of images going back to the 1980's and it is hoped in time some of these will appear in print through this medium. Commencing shortly on my travel holiday's during the last 10 years covering Eire, Canada, USA and on board the "Queen Mary 2". The question is how far will I get in getting some of these books actually completed, only time will tell.
