About the Book
Bartholomew is a Barred Owlet who was born in the month of April in New Hampshire. He lives in a local conservation area which preserves the natural environment for plants and wildlife. This story is about just a few days of his life when he left his nest and learned to fly. At about about six weeks old, he flew or fell to the ground. In either case, he had the capability to climb a nearby leaning tree where he developed his capability to fly over a two day period. The photographs in this book document his story. We wish him a happy life in the forest.
