About the Book
In her debut chapbook, which features poems from throughout her time in university, Gabrielle LaFrank explores the liminal space between light and dark. The young author of children's book Born From My Heart uses a variety of voices and styles to open conversation around mental health, relationships, and growing up. From rusty bicycles to witchcraft, the detailed imagery of Gabrielle's words transcends time and place to bring focus to the cerebral–the emotional, the things that drive us in life.
