About the Book
Photographer Steve Mitchell is a retired commercial pilot, having spent most of his working life in the aviation industry in Australia. When he returned to New Zealand he settled in Invercargill, at the very southern tip of the country. The next major landmass is Antarctica, so he truly lives at the end of the world.
Steve is a landscape photographer who has found that he still prefers the colour and texture that only film gives, and he uses a variety of vintage cameras and lenses in his work. In this, his first book, he gives you a glimpse of the amazing landscapes of the deep south.
