About the Book
Before I Said Goodbye chronicles the hospital stays, decisions made, and associated emotional chaos of end-of-life care from the perspective of a daughter who had been the primary caregiver over the last eight years for her mother, a persevering woman who had battled illness her entire life.
MJ Santangelo’s honest and poignant story will have you wanting to cherish every moment you have with your loved ones, make you consider taking more pictures of yourself with family and friends, and give you the courage to have the difficult conversations with your loved one so that when the time comes to say goodbye, there is no doubt you are doing what your loved one wanted.

About the Creator
MJ Santangelo
Connecticut, USA
MJ has always been an avid reader and wrote poems for a short period of time in her late teens. Then life happened—college, marriage and kids—and it wasn’t until her early thirties that she was able to pick up the pen again, and begin writing her first novella. She has yet to put the pen down. MJ lives in Connecticut with her husband, two sons and her pug, Boo. When she is not writing, you can find her reading, cleaning, cooking or driving someone somewhere and listening to music while she does it.
