An earlier publication, “Silent Waters”, a collection of nature poetry and prose provides insight into Ernest’s years spent pursuing a career as an Artist-Naturalist. “AURORA BOREALIS”, a collection of what might be called, more serious prose and poetry, provides insight of an auto biographical nature, despite Ernest’s attempt to avoid a publication of this nature, stating that he doesn’t enjoy autobiographies finding them boring. The poems and prose contained in AURORA BOREALIS are both entertaining and with moments of frankness, providing insight into life growing up in small town Canada.
