About the Book
In hardback - 90 pages of photographs explore the enchanted world of one woman's life work and devotion. THE PAYNE GARDEN by the British photographer Ron McCormick explores the intimacy of the private retreat and tiny closed garden that lies behind the facade of a small terraced house in South Wales. Photographed during the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic and an enforced “lockdown” that separated families, restricted movement, and limited most forms of social interaction. The garden, for many, became a place of sanctuary and protection from the tyranny of Covid-19.
This book was originally made as a personal tribute and a ”very special thank you gift” for his good friends Juliet and Alan Payne.
