About the Book
Bent on the Dirt Road is an ode to the beauty we are blessed to explore. It highlights the magic that is overlanding through a variety of environments. The landscapes, the mud, the rock, the challenges and the connection to the terrain are all captured and celebrated in this hard bound book. Andrew Wrisley of Wris Photography, has spent years working his craft with a focus on van overlanding and is excited to share this first edition book with the community. In addition to capturing these vehicles moving through the wild, he is a member of the van overlanding community and enjoys the exploration that comes with it. This limited edition book designed with Lonny Hurley Studio is his letter to nature and to those explorers who appreciate getting lost and finding new ways home.

About the Creator
Andrew Wrisley, of Wris Photography, found his love for photography while in the backcountry skiing. Using his camera to capture the landscape around him, he found a passion to create images that help stir emotion in its viewers. His work ranges from commercial work with large corporations all the way to start up businesses looking to market within their space. His first book, Bent on the Dirt Road, was born out of his passion for exploring the backcountry and enjoying the fresh air. While not everyone owns a van, most can appreciate the solitude that can be found when taking the road less traveled.
