These book jackets (plus a few posters and magazines) cover several countries, decades and ideologies, but share a graphic language: the foregrounding of flat geometry, offcentre layout and experimental typography. Though the philosophies of their designers differed, they have been brought together here for their aesthetic value.

The Misc. books are “an occasional series featuring unseen design experiments, photographic essays, personal sketches, strange clippings, resampled illustrations, random doodlings, themed ephemera, visual musings, unrealised projects, curated detritus . . .”
