About the Book
Embedded within this curated print project is a selection of undergraduate and post-graduate student media art projects. The digital work covers a broad range of genres, design research and personal expression.
The student experiments are intermixed with my own speculative self-portraits, Gulf futurist research, and social documentation.
Embedded visitations of inspiring artists and filmmakers that were screened throughout the two years of classes also make a manifested appearance.
Continuing a theme from past publication projects I wanted to share this fused material in the form of a reimagined Wunderkammern or cabinet of media curiosities in which we see the works form a constellation of multiple meanings and interpretations. There is no one way to experience the non-linear publication. My hope is that unique connections and stories emerge from the pages and inspire readers to dive into many co-mingled global futures.
