About the Book
Inspired by the potential loss of a local landmark, “Between Land and Sea” takes us on a journey from east to west along the East Sussex coast, depicting the structures and landmarks that occupy the space where the land meets the sea, before they are lost or reshaped by man or nature.
The use of “Slow Photography” evokes a feeling for the solidity yet impermanence of our coastline and a sense of the changes unseen - here the sea, always moving and changing, merges into one, whilst structures slowly erode in an invisible state of flux.
