This collection of poems transfers the experiences and emotions from high school into college, to the frustration and heart cries into the peak of our adult lives. The poems consists of activism, societal/environmental thoughts, migration, crime, death, grief, sex, religion/spirituality, mentality, connection to nature, personal relationships, and most importantly, the relationship with ourselves.

There will be a few times when I ask you to write with me and reflect on your OWN experiences. Turning our vulnerable moments into powerful stories that we can allow to liberate us. Feel free to write however you please, whether it is on topic or off topic, there is no judgment here. Simply remember, even in the dirtiest of waters, a flower can blossom without drowning and it's journey of life can still be beautiful.
