About the Book
The photographs of leaves, flowers and seeds in this book hold a mirror to that concept and instead show that in every stage of life – including death – beauty develops. Instead of fear of mortality, they bring a feeling of continuity, optimism and joy.

About the Creator
Mr. Stinson is a freelance photographer and writer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a B.A. from New College in Sarasota Florida and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute and is a member of the Board of Directors of PhotoAlliance. His particular interest is in the surprising connection between our sense of the aesthetic and the universality of underlying physical laws. Other work explores the relationship between form, function and design and the discovery of hidden beauty in transitional forms. Some images draw on my experience in land use planning and environmental conservation. Stinson's photographs have won awards local and regionally and have been exhibited internationally.
