About the Book
This is a book long in the making..it is full of family memories of growing up in the fifties.
When I started the project, I contacted my sister Annie and we both wrote up memories of our childhood...there are errors in the book and mispellings..but the stories are delightful and it is a book you can open to any page and start reading..
When a person dies...all their memories go with them unless they have found a way to share them, to let the memories live...so that is what we have done.
The book was made for family but I decided to leave it public for memories are beautiful.

My bio is simple, I grew up in te 50's. period. Life was simple and basic back then. I lived thru the first color tvs, microwaves, vhs, shag carpeting and hair dye in a box. Cooking with lard and eating fudge sandwiches, spam and fried chicken. Rag braids and sulphar and lard as a remedy for scabies or ringworm. It was an amazing time to have grown up in.
