Beckah York, former EMT and CPR/First Aid Instructor of 16 years tells her stories of her experiences with chronic illness in young children. Beckah has several genetic chronic illnesses that have been passed to her children. Through their courage and ambition she was able to find ways to enhance her life. Beckah found her voice through writing after getting a support animal to help keep her company while sick in bed. Elvis the bunny was a beautiful addition to the family and gave her peace while healing her tears shed over the years of bad news with these diseases. She hopes to continue creating fun, creative, short stories about her genetic illnesses in a way that both family and friends would enjoy.
