Princess Katherine of Tegary had spent
her whole life knowing she was meant to be
Queen, to find a husband and rule how her
father saw fit. She also knew her title would
mean nothing.
King Cornelius of Tegary had spent his
rule suppressing the Fey-kind and battling
the False King Theseus of Althea, to ensure
that his kingdom remained free of their
devilish ways. He also ensured his daughter
never diverged from the path he chose for
her.
When Katherine learns of her father’s
devious plans, she knows it is time to diverge
from her position of comfort. She must put
her trust in someone other than her beloved
handmaiden Eliza and do something that she
never dreamed—leave Tegary to save the
lower sector.
With the help of some unlikely friends,
Katherine must make an ally of a lifelong
“enemy” and betray her domineering father-
but to do so, she must learn to know herself.
