About the Book
4k for Cancer brings together groups of young adults who undertake a 4,000-mile bike ride or run relay across the United States offering hope, inspiration, and support to cancer communities along the way. This book tells the story of the group that traveled to San Francisco on their bicycles in the summer of 2014 as part of the 4k for Cancer. Written by one of the riders, Stephanie Flynn, it takes you through the different locations through which the riders and their bicycles traveled. An elementary teacher herself, the author wrote this story to captivate and educate a young audience by way of rhymes and interesting facts about the trip, the landmarks, and the Ulman Foundation. Proceeds of this book will be donated to the Ulman Foundation.
