An 80 page guide to collecting pinup advertising ink blotters. Ink blotters were used in the early to mid 1900s as absorbent cards of paper often with advertising and a picture on the front and the blotting paper on the back. Many of the pictures were by now famous pinup artists such as Gil Elvgren, Earl Moran, Ted Withers, Zoe Mozert and Bill Layne. Most of the pinup blotters were published from the 1930s until the early 1970s. They are accessible collectibles compared to other pinup art ranging in price from $4-$20.
