About the Book
Edward S. Curtis took thousands of photos of Native Americans in a bygone era, and thankfully, his work was preserved by the Library of Congress. Many of those photos, however, are damaged, stained, or too dark to appreciate. This volume, with more to come, restores a fraction of those photos to black and white, as well as colorize them to bring them back to life for all to enjoy.
Each volume will showcase the original, the restored black and white, and the colorized version. Restored as minimally as possible, we hope you enjoy them for all the beauty that they hold.
