I served in Peace Corps Paraguay from 1974 to 1976 as a health education Volunteer. After earning a Master of Public Health degree from Yale in 1983, I spent decades of working in community health efforts, farm worker housing development, college-level teaching, and early learning programs, I am now retired and spend my time swimming, writing, quilting, and enjoying life In Yakima, Washington, with Stephen, my husband of over four decades. We have returned to Paraguay three times since our Peace Corps service.
