About the Creator
Captain Cowboy is Paul Vernon's independent press. A short time ago Paul delved back into years of his unpublished photography as new work blossomed, developing into photobooks and a filmmaker exploring a fresh medium of bookmaking. Captain Cowboy the character dreamt up in front of Paul's camera lens by his sister in the award-winning short documentary A Film By Abigail. @CAP.COW on Instagram. Paul is the creator of experimental, dance and documentary films screened worldwide notably at Artists Forum Festival of The Moving Image in New York, LACMA, BAFTA, London Short Film Festival at the ICA and at Cinetekton International Film & Architecture Festival. He has worked in roles for clients such as Disney, Netflix, BBC and Channel 4 in a filmmaking environment.
