Tuning in to the local news outlet has been a daily ritual for two years now. After awhile the death count can easily turn into 'just a number' as we become jaded. Visiting a cemetery, however, gives a very real visualization of the stark reality the pandemic has had on us all. Not just the graves, but the offerings of grief, the weather, and the mechanical processes involved all give an illustration as to the impact the last two years has had.
