About the Book
Many parenting "experts" and others are trying to convince parents to make their children do chores. They claim that chores are needed for children to have success in life. But is this true? Maybe there is something else behind all this? In this study the author reveals some of the ugly sides of the "chores for kids" movement and argues that children should have a carefree childhood, not burdened with adult responsibilities. He also examines the reasons given for chores and proves that none of them can really stand up to criticism. This edition is expanded.
