About the Book
The Solidarity Book Project celebrates the power of art to change the world. Each time someone sculpted a book, submitted a reflection, or shared an excerpt from a book that taught them about solidarity, Amherst College pledged funds. Through the participation of thousands of people around the world, $100,000 was raised to support nonprofits that serve Black and Indigenous communities.
“As we are making and reflecting,” Clark says, “we are also giving.”
