The mission of this gallery is to bring visibility and focus to the beauty of the vulva. Our society is conditioned to accept and admire notions of strength and masculinity through phallic representations; from the design of our buildings and culture, to the way we perceive notions of humanity. This is a notion that needs to be changed, as human organs such as the vulva represent strength in softness and beauty. This gallery is a celebration of that inherently feminine beauty.
Each person involved in this project has shown their own unique strengths and vulnerabilities, to bring to light the true natural beauty of the vulva. Nature shows us this, with so many of our strongest and beautiful natural life being shaped and designed to represent the vulva.
