About the Book
'Exquisite Corpse' is a collection of 43 artworks by artist and musician, Nick Blinko and artist and writer, Colin Rhodes, begun during the first UK Covid Lockdown. The process follows a game beloved of the surrealists in which one person begins a drawing and then others complete it incrementally without seeing the previous image. All is revealed only at the end. Lockdown demanded that the whole process was conducted by mail, with actual bits of paper and card travelling back and forth, adding a refreshing sense of reality in that strange time. Reproduced here in high quality, full-colour, the book also includes a hand-written preface by Nick Blinko that is an artwork in itself.
