About the Book
Millicent Hodson and Kenneth Archers dance work spans over 40 years of ballet reconstructions and books about their work. Instead of writing a book diary, Hodson ‘wrote’ intricate boxes with found objects and materials ie: may it be a piece of wood in a shape of an owl, or a small lighthouse found on a trip related to an event. In this publication, Shira Klasmer photographed the objects and Hodson and Archer untangled memories as stories on a page.
Objects instead of words, boxes instead of pages, you are invited to dive into dance history through a journey within objects.
