About the Book
The photographs in this book document the lean to glasshouses in the walled garden at Bicton College. The images capture the greenhouse's demise and state of disrepair, simultaneously showing the beauty during their slow decay. The images are quiet and sensitive many focusing on details around the greenhouses. These images were taken during a project inspired by the Bicton glasshouses. Other images made during this project can be seen in the book entitled 'Bicton Glasshouses Buried', showing the effects of the unusual technique of burying the negatives in the soil.
