About the Book
Retired photographer charles i. letbetter takes a surreal and sometimes disturbing turn, utilizing images from his vast photo archive as the basis for new artworks. Defying convention, and sometimes logic, charles allows his mind to wander to places a camera cannot go on its own. Wrestling with his own sense of self-worth and doubt, charles mixes words with his pictures revealing his attempts to keep up his own spirit while fighting the diseases trying to kill him. The results are not conventionally "pretty" but are reflective of the mind of one person trying to survive.

About the Creator
Charles Letbetter
Indianapolis, IN USA
charles i. letbetter is a veteran photographer with a penchant for coffee and scotch, though not at the same time. He also indulges heavily in chocolate and aggressively attacks his colon with red meat. When not taking or processing pictures, charles still enjoys sitting at a piano, telling stories, and falling dead asleep in inappropriately public places.
