About the Book
Geographically, the furthest point we can see, the line where the sky meets the earth is called the horizon. Anything beyond that horizon is obscured from our view, an unknown vista. For me, that’s a good geographical definition and what each image in this book presents.
Likewise, horizons can also mean the edge of something new in our life, an obscured point where we are limited in knowledge, understanding, experience or our calling. The words in this book will focus on the horizons of our inner lives, the ones we often overlook or avoid, those horizons the English poet David Whyte calls our “deep inner horizons.” Enjoy!

My mission as a photographer is two fold. First, I hope to share the beauty of our natural world through quality images, which are given as a gift to us, and a few random words. Second, is to delve into portraits, offering enjoyable portrait sessions along with quality prints and digital files.
