I celebrate happenstance and serendipity in my photography and writing. Am I good at either? I'm a retired journalist and now have the time to really learn about my camera and my relationship with it. In many ways it's just as though I've picked up a camera for the first time, just as it often feels like the first time when I write about the experience. But as far as I've come, I know I've a long way to go. It's that journey I love. The learning and the doing.
