About the Book
A predominantly photographic look at the Yorkshire Dales in Northern England, a region well known through the books of James Heriot and the TV series 'All Creatures Great and Small.' The author, who now lives in Australia, returned to the area in which he grew up. He photographed the landscapes and interviewed many local people over a period of six months. In Australia, he is a highly acknowledged photographer having worked extensively for many magazines including Australian Geographic, Vogue, The book is the first in a series of four books covering Airedale, Wharfedale, Langstrothdale, Wensleydale, Swaledale and smaller tributary dales.
