About the Book
It is a combination of serious, sad, and humorous life events. The story compares mom’s life to a long-stemmed pink rose and it shows how a set of china exemplified her character and generosity. But just like the most beautiful long-stemmed pink rose, every life has a least one thorn.
This story invites you to personally share with me the common thread of faith, hope, and love. You may chuckle at personal and heartfelt memories but at the same time struggle with a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye as mom’s firm belief that “God is watching over me” came true one evening.
Other short stories of childhood escapes, later in life experiences, and tour directing stories are meant to capture some of life’s greatest adventures with a bit of humor intertwined and a tale of truth in all. In a few of the stories, a change of names will be noted.
My hope is that you will be inspired to share your life adventures and experiences with family and friends.
Now, let the story journey begin.
