About the Creator
Wendy is a retired U.S. Army Soldier with almost 25 years of federal service. She has been an Elite Trainer with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), holding certifications in Personal Training, Fitness Therapy, and Fitness Nutrition since 2011. She spent her last nine years in the Army as a Master Resilience Trainer (MRT), helping Soldiers cope with the rigors of combat and deal with life's challenges in the face of adversity. It is through this perspective that she functions as a teacher and a healer. Wendy earned a master's degree in Exercise Science as a Wellness Coach from California University of Pennsylvania in 2016. As a certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master/Teacher, she hopes to combat chronic pain, grief, and trauma through positional realignment, myofascial release, energy healing, and meditation. Wendy is dedicated to healing her community one soul at a time.
