TRONDHEIM — The latest artist’s books by the artist and photographer Brynhild Bye-Tiller is filled with images of protests. The books are a retrospective collection of protests from the last decade in two of the largest cities in Norway. It is a political decision to publish this series of images and she has an interest in discussing freedom of expression and threats to democracies.

Bye-Tiller is best known for her colour documentary prints, that captures the beauty of everyday life in different communities. Depicting immigrant women, refugees, asylum seekers, health care workers, cleaning workers and kindergarten workers.
