About the Book
A wonderful installation of inspired works by Australian sculptors was held in October 2009 at Orange (Nashdale). This book shows the way that outback artists respond to their world and create pieces, often out of found objects from the farming country around them. Australian animals, flora and cross cultural philosophies form the basis for many of the works. This was a rich and rewarding experience for all who attended.

The highlight of my career has been taking my paintings to Florence, Italy and being awarded the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award for Paintings in 2007. After 30 years of painting, it was a fantastic experience to be in the great city that was home to Leonardo and Michaelangelo and be given a Medici Medal. My love of the landscape, especially the Australian deserts, underpins my paintings and photography. I do hope you enjoy my books.
