Shanya Johnson lives in Oakland, California. She and her two best friends, Dylan and Jaylin, start their summer like any ordinary 11th graders when they all are forced onto an adventure that they can’t escape. Little do they know that it is up to them to save the world.
Shanya must regain her mortality but she ends up gaining something else on the way. Friendships are changing between the three and Shania doesn’t know how to feel about it. Backs are turned, people get hurt inside and out, and feelings are exchanged.
