About the Book
It is a compilation of my favorite memories of places and people from my youth in a small North Florida town from the late 1940s to the 1960s. The world I grew up in is largely gone now, but as I approach my 80th birthday, I realize I was an average kid who was given riches that were not monetary, but rich in life experiences that gave me a good start and made me a better person.
