Nicko was a professional model at the time I met him. He had a great spirit, and was always a pleasure to work with. Nicko was 22 when we began our two year working relationship. He consistently brought a lot of energy to each of our shoots, and wholly enjoyed the photographic process. These are older works, and the photographic quality changes periodically throughout. Additionally, I experimented with the use of mixed media to a certain degree, to help capture Nicko unbridled in his element. After much thought, I decided to make this all one book, as opposed creating several volumes. Nicko and I have kept in contact over the years, and I hope one day to work with him again. One never knows.
