About the Book
A creative project, specifically an auto-ethnography series on active jack pumps and sites located in various places in Los Angeles - Southern California, demonstrating land use incompatibility. The city is home to urban oil drilling, which drives health concerns to the low-income and people of color communities. I gathered photographic evidence of the location of hotspots in toxic urban spaces in Los Angeles, showing explicitly the areas they are located in.
