About the Book
The Redcliffe Peninsula could be seen as quite a unique place in contrast to many of the other suburbs in much of the greater Brisbane area.
An area that was in fact the site of the first colonial settlement in Queensland and an area that is undergoing massive change.
An area where an ageing population exists with a population from a wide and varied socio-economic background and an area that many long-term residents have been forced from due to the soaring cost of rents and modern housing developments. The once sleepy, seaside fishing village like atmosphere fast being replaced with all that being "just another Brisbane suburb" brings.
