Through five photo-essays coupled with corresponding mini-research essays, the historic Male Gaze in our society is challenged. Critical theory critiques on how minority member of our society are treated emphasize each set of portraits, and each portrait subject regains autonomy and an active role in being viewed by submitting a written statement.
