About the Book
This photo book is dedicated to my wife Marta, who
passed away in January of 2023. Her grandfather was
a Sicilian from Palermo and immigrated to Buenos
Aires Argentina. Before Marta died we had planned a
trip to Taormina and also to visit Palermo, her
grandfather’s town. In 2016, during a Mediterranean
cruise we spent one day in Taormina and fell in love
with this beautiful town and wanted to go back there.
So in the spring of 2023 I came back to Sicily alone in
remembrance of my beloved wife Marta.
