Photographing regions where human culture and history have shaped a unique architecture, infrastructure and landscape is a driving force behind this work. I’ve used this interest to explore the Polar regions, with a particular interest in vernacular architecture and related landscapes. This book presents images from an eight year project photographing Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Himalayan mountain range.
