About the Book
After suffering much FOMI (Fear of Missing Images), I bought a small compact camera, put it in my pocket and got to work capturing the 'scruffy' beauty of Knoxville, Tennessee. The compact allowed for a loose and impulsive style of shooting which matched the persona of a town which seems happy to stay simple, humble, and understated.

About the Creator
Anthony Rampersad
Knoxville, TN
I am a street and documentary photographer who views the world around me with an unrelinquished sense of boyhood wonder. There is interest and beauty in even the most mundane of scenes. I enjoy exploring on foot, capturing in images, and rationalizing in prose. My formative years in the Caribbean imbued me with an appreciation for colour, culture and cuisines. I enjoy traveling, seeing how fellow humans build their societies and thrive in them, and seeing those societies ultimately evolve. I love framing the big picture from the myriad mosaic tiles scraped at street level.
